Abstract
Introduction：We report the effectiveness of monthly intravenous ibandronate injections in an observational study in over 80 age patients with osteoporosis；60 months treatment. Method：19 patients treated for 60 months with intravenous ibandronate every month 1 mg. After 60 months treated 18 patients were analyzed by DXA system. Result：Bone mineral density and bone strength parameter improved or sustained during 60 months. Conclusion：Intravenous ibandronate was useful in an observational study in over 80 age patients with osteoporosis；60 months treatment.
