Abstract
大動脈弁形成術は，僧帽弁に比べ大動脈弁は解剖学的に複雑で，かつその形成が技術的に困難なため，いまだ一般的ではない．しかしながら，近年の自己弁形成，温存の戦略の中で，若年者を中心に，マルファン症候群や二尖弁を含め，大動脈基部から上行大動脈病変に基づく大動脈弁閉鎖不全症など一部の疾患群において積極的に試みられ，良好な成績が得られている．成人例を対象に，その適応について筆者の経験を含めて記述する．
