慢性リンパ性白血病は日本では極めて少ない．そのため薬剤の導入も遅れたが，フルダラビンをはじめとして新たな薬剤が使用されるようになった．高齢者が対象でもあり，免疫不全を基盤とする感染症の対策が肝要である．
