Abstract
食事摂取により分泌され，インスリン分泌を促進する消化管ホルモンをインクレチンと呼び，GIP とGLP-1 が主要なものである．GIP とGLP-1 は膵β細胞に対して，インスリン分泌に加えて細胞の保護作用を有している．また膵α細胞に対しては，GIP はグルカゴン分泌促進に，GLP-1 は分泌抑制に作用する．
