自己反応性T 細胞の選別にかかわる転写因子Fezf2 の発見

Abstract
T細胞は多様性に富むT細胞抗原受容体を持つが，この多様性は胸腺ででき上がる．自己成分（自己抗原）に応答する自己反応性T細胞ができた場合，末梢での自己免疫反応を未然に防ぐため，胸腺で除去されている．この過程は「負の選択」と呼ばれ，転写因子Fezf2 や転写制御因子Aire により制御されている．Fezf2 とAire はそれぞれ独立した制御機構を持ち，負の選択と自己免疫寛容の成立に必須な遺伝子である．
