脳卒中後認知症（poststroke dementia）の病態

Abstract
脳卒中そのものによる認知機能障害は，血管性認知機能障害（vascular cognitive impairment）と呼ばれる．一方，脳卒中発作後しばらくしてから何らかの認知症を発症してくることがあり，この場合，脳卒中は認知機能障害の誘因あるいはリスク因子と考えられる．これらを総じて脳卒中後に来す認知症をpoststroke dementiaと言う．
