Abstract
“Anatomy is the cheapest way to be safe”，これはPierre Lasjaunias 先生の言葉です．新しいコイルをいかに安全に扱うか，Pipeline をどのように使用するのが適正かといった技術・知識ももちろん大事ですが，それと同じぐらい，時によってはそれ以上に大事なのが，解剖学の知識です．中硬膜動脈の塞栓術でも，解剖を知らずに詰めてしまうと，何％かの確率で失明が出てしまいますよね．患者さんをリスクから回避する，一番安くてそして強力なツール，それが解剖学の知識だと思っています．
