新規抗てんかん薬lacosamideへの期待

Abstract
Lacosamide(LCM)は,他の抗てんかん薬で十分な効果が認められない16歳以上のてんかん患者の部分発作(二次性全般化発作を含む)に対する併用療法として,間もなく承認が見込まれる抗てんかん薬である。これまでに報告されているデータを紹介し,その特性や今後への期待と課題についてまとめた。LCMは今後てんかん治療の前線での活用が期待される薬剤であるが,てんかん治療における位置づけを明らかにしていくには,今後使用経験を積み,特長を生かした使用方法を見出していく必要がある。 Key words : antiepileptic drug, lacosamide, effectiveness, tolerability, clinical trial
