HFNC の目的とするところは、主に酸素化の改善にあるといえます。換気効率を改善する効果も指摘されています。HFNC の設定項目には、流量、吸入酸素濃度（FIO2）、温度があります。本稿では、各項目の設定について筆者の私見を交えて述べてみたいと思います。
